Traditional Biscotti Jar “Barocco Turchese”
Sweeping acanthus scrolls in turquoise and rust frame the BISCOTTI lettering of this jar, a baroque cartouche inspired by 18th-century Umbrian majolica. Our painters outline every leaf by hand and fill it with layered color on a warm ivory ground. It brings an elegant, old-world touch to a classic kitchen and looks beautiful next to copper and natural wood.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
