Traditional Biscotti Jar “Umbria”
Inspired by the colors of the Umbrian countryside, this biscotti jar is decorated with vibrant red flowers and soft green foliage on a bright white ground. Painted by hand in Deruta, a few kilometers from the hills that inspired it, every jar is slightly different and truly unique. It brings a fresh, rustic Italian touch to farmhouse and Mediterranean kitchens alike.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
