Deruta Mugs: Hand Painted Italian Coffee Mugs

Every Deruta mug in this collection is shaped and painted by hand in our workshop in Deruta, Italy, where we have been making majolica since 1965. These are Italian coffee mugs made to be used every day: a ceramic coffee mug for the first espresso lungo of the morning, a ceramic tea mug for a quiet evening, and a piece of Italian pottery that looks as good on the shelf as it does on the table.

Our Traditional mug comes in two sizes, 8.5 oz (250 ml) and 12 oz (350 ml), and in more than thirty decorations: the classic Ricco Deruta and Raffaellesco, the Galletto rooster in green, red and blue, fine Arabesco scrollwork, the Peacock feather pattern and many original MOD designs. Ceramic holds heat and releases it slowly, so your drink stays warm for longer. All our hand painted mugs are food safe, lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe.
