Traditional Mug “Frutteto”
Ripe oranges and deep blue fruit nestle among green leaves on this Italian coffee mug, framed by cobalt scrolls and a blue rim. Frutteto, Italian for orchard, is a new pattern from our Deruta workshop, where every fruit and curl is painted freehand.
Our Traditional mug is the classic straight-sided Deruta mug, shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica, with a comfortable handle and a generous rim. Choose the 8.5 oz size (250 ml, 3.7 in / 9.5 cm tall) for coffee and cappuccino or the 12 oz size (350 ml, 4.3 in / 11 cm tall) for tea and long coffee. Food safe, lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe: a piece of Italian pottery made to be used every day.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
