Description
“Bubble” Vinegar Bottle – Ricco Deruta
Dense scrolls of acanthus leaves in yellow, orange and cobalt blue cover this little vinegar cruet in Ricco Deruta, the richest of the historic Deruta decors, first painted in our town during the Renaissance. It takes a steady, patient hand to fit the whole pattern onto such a small, round body.
Our “Bubble” bottle is a round, playful piece of Italian pottery: 3.3 in (8.5 cm) tall and wide, it holds about 4.2 oz (125 ml) of balsamic or wine vinegar and comes with a stainless steel pourer, with “aceto” lettered in script on the body. Shaped and hand painted in Italian majolica, it is food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe. Pair it with the matching “Bubble” olive oil bottle in Ricco Deruta for a charming set of ceramic oil and vinegar bottles.
