Description
“Bubble” Olive Oil Bottle – Ricco Deruta
Dense scrolls of acanthus leaves in yellow, orange and cobalt blue cover this little olive oil cruet in Ricco Deruta, the richest of the historic Deruta decors, first painted in our town during the Renaissance. It takes a steady, patient hand to fit the whole pattern onto such a small, round body.
Our “Bubble” bottle is a round, playful piece of Italian pottery: 3.3 in (8.5 cm) tall and wide, it holds about 4.2 oz (125 ml) and comes with a stainless steel pourer, with “olio” lettered in script on the body. Shaped and hand painted in Italian majolica, it is food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe. Perfect beside the stove, on the dinner table or as a small gift. Pair it with the matching “Bubble” vinegar bottle in Ricco Deruta for a charming set of ceramic oil and vinegar bottles.
