The Penny decoration brings a lively rhythm of small hand-painted medallions in cobalt blue and warm ochre, repeated around this biscotti jar like a string of antique coins. Each jar is shaped and painted by hand in our Deruta workshop, so no two are ever perfectly identical. Set it on an open shelf or a farmhouse table for a quiet, collected charm.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
