A cheerful green rooster struts across this biscotti jar, part of the beloved Galletto family that has decorated Italian farmhouse kitchens for generations. Our painters trace the comb, feathers and tail freehand, so each bird has its own small character. It is a natural fit for a country or farmhouse kitchen.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
