Description
Pasta Bowl “Cobalt Fruits”
Cobalt Fruits sets ripe lemons, grapes and pears against a deep cobalt blue rim, closed by a warm yellow edge. The strong blue makes the fruit glow, and the bowl looks beautiful on a summer table or hung on a kitchen wall.
This is a wide, shallow rimmed bowl, the classic Italian piatto fondo, 9.8 in (25 cm) across and 1.6 in (4 cm) deep: the shape Italians use for pasta, risotto and soup. It is hand painted in Italian majolica. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe and lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
