Description
Pasta Bowl “Imperiale”
Imperiale is one of our most opulent patterns: ochre acanthus scrolls, blue flowers and turquoise gems on a black rim, framed by an orange edge. It brings a regal touch to formal dinners and makes a striking wall piece.
This is a wide, shallow rimmed bowl, the classic Italian piatto fondo, 9.8 in (25 cm) across and 1.6 in (4 cm) deep: the shape Italians use for pasta, risotto and soup. It is hand painted in Italian majolica. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe and lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
