Description
“Bubble” Olive Oil Bottle – Galletto Rosso
The classic red Galletto rooster, one of the best loved figures of Italian farmhouse pottery, stands proud on this little olive oil cruet in warm reds with dark blue accents. Our artisans keep the loose, lively brushstroke that has always defined Deruta rooster pottery.
Our “Bubble” bottle is a round, playful piece of Italian pottery: 3.3 in (8.5 cm) tall and wide, it holds about 4.2 oz (125 ml) and comes with a stainless steel pourer, with “olio” lettered in script on the body. Shaped and hand painted in Italian majolica, it is food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe. Perfect beside the stove, on the dinner table or as a small gift. Pair it with the matching “Bubble” vinegar bottle in Galletto Rosso for a charming set of ceramic oil and vinegar bottles.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
