About the Arabesco Pattern
The Arabesco decoration traces its roots to the Moorish ornamental tradition that reached central Italy through Renaissance trade routes. Its flowing interlocking curves have been hand-painted by Deruta artisans for centuries and remain one of the most recognizable Italian majolica motifs worldwide.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Each cup is individually shaped, coated with a lead-free enamel glaze, and painted by hand before a second kiln firing. MOD Deruta Heritage has been producing majolica in Deruta since 1965.
Care & Use
Lead-free glaze, food safe, and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to avoid chipping from impacts inside the dishwasher. Microwave safe — avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Capacity: 1.5 oz | 45 ml.
