About the Arabesco Pattern
The Arabesco decoration traces its origins to the Moorish ornamental tradition that reached central Italy through Renaissance trade routes. Its flowing interlocking curves have been a defining motif of Deruta majolica for centuries.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Shaped by hand, coated with a lead-free enamel glaze, and individually painted before a second kiln firing in Deruta. Each piece carries the subtle variations that distinguish handmade majolica.
Care & Use
Lead-free glaze, food safe, and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to avoid chipping from impacts inside the dishwasher. Microwave safe — avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Capacity: 1.5 oz | 45 ml.
