Espresso Cup and Saucer “Raffaellesco”
Raffaellesco is the best-known pattern of Deruta, inspired by the grotesque frescoes that Raphael painted in the Vatican in the sixteenth century. A golden dragon, a symbol of good fortune and fair winds, moves among fine blue scrolls and turquoise flowers on a white ground, with a yellow rim striped in red. A colorful espresso cup for anyone who loves classic Italian majolica.
Our espresso cup and saucer is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. The cup holds 1.5 oz (45 ml), the classic Italian espresso measure; the saucer is 4.3 in (11 cm) wide and the set stands 3 in (7.6 cm) tall. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.
