Description
Dinner Plate “Galletto Red”
The Galletto is the rooster of Deruta, a symbol of good luck painted on Umbrian tableware for generations. Here a red rooster stands at the center, surrounded by red leaves, yellow rings and a red and white rope edge. It pairs well with a red kitchen or a rustic farmhouse table.
This 11 in (28 cm) Italian dinner plate is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
