Description
Dinner Plate “Galletto Blue”
The Galletto is the rooster of Deruta, a symbol of good luck painted on Umbrian tableware for generations. Here a cobalt blue rooster stands at the center, framed by blue leaves and yellow rings. It looks fresh on a blue and white table and mixes well with the other Galletto colors.
Each 11 in (28 cm) plate is thrown, glazed and painted by hand in our Deruta workshop using traditional Italian majolica. It comes with a scalloped or a smooth edge, so you can match it to the rest of your table. Made in Italy, lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
