About the Design
The Corallo Rosso pattern draws from the naturalistic tradition of Italian decorative arts, where marine and botanical motifs have been rendered in majolica since the 16th century. The red coral carries a long cultural symbolism in Italian tradition — protection, vitality, and good fortune.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Each cup is individually shaped, coated with a lead-free enamel glaze, and hand-painted before a second kiln firing. MOD Deruta Heritage has been producing majolica in Deruta since 1965 — three generations keeping this craft alive.
Care & Use
Lead-free glaze, food safe, and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to avoid chipping from impacts inside the dishwasher. Microwave safe — avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Capacity: 1.5 oz | 45 ml.
