Description
Espresso Cup and Saucer “Ricco Deruta”
Ricco Deruta is the great classic of Deruta majolica, a pattern handed down from the Renaissance. Cobalt blue scrolls and curling leaves, orange flowers and turquoise accents cover the white ground, framed by a rich yellow rim and a turquoise foot. Its blue, yellow and orange palette is the one most people picture when they think of Italian pottery.
Our espresso cup and saucer is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. The cup holds 1.5 oz (45 ml), the classic Italian espresso measure; the saucer is 4.3 in (11 cm) wide and the set stands 3 in (7.6 cm) tall. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.
