Description
“Bubble” Vinegar Bottle – Galletto Verde
A cheerful green rooster struts across this little vinegar cruet, part of the Galletto family of Deruta rooster pottery that has brightened Italian farmhouse kitchens for generations and is said to bring luck to the home. Each bird is sketched freehand, comb, feathers and tail, so no two are alike.
Our “Bubble” bottle is a round, playful piece of Italian pottery: 3.3 in (8.5 cm) tall and wide, it holds about 4.2 oz (125 ml) of balsamic or wine vinegar and comes with a stainless steel pourer, with “aceto” lettered in script on the body. Shaped and hand painted in Italian majolica, it is food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe. Pair it with the matching “Bubble” olive oil bottle in Galletto Verde for a charming set of ceramic oil and vinegar bottles.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
