Umbria paints the countryside around Deruta: red poppies, wildflowers, green fields and soft hills, like a summer walk in the heart of Italy. On the dinner plate the landscape runs along the top and bottom, on the pasta bowl it fills the whole rim, and on the salad plate it becomes a small view at the center of a white plate.
Every piece is painted by hand, brushstroke by brushstroke, by our artisans in Deruta, the Umbrian town that has made Italian majolica for over five centuries. No two plates are exactly alike: the small variations in line and color are the signature of a real hand, not a machine. Your set is made to order in about 15 working days and ships directly from our workshop in Italy, arriving in the US in 3 to 7 days.
This 3-piece Italian dinnerware set includes an 11 in (28 cm) dinner plate, a 9.8 in (25 cm) pasta bowl and an 8.7 in (22 cm) salad plate, all with the same scalloped or smooth edge. Lead free, food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. Order 4 or more place settings and save up to 7%.
