A golden songbird perches among stylized tropical blooms on this biscotti jar, one of our own original MOD Classic patterns rather than a traditional Deruta motif. The colors are warmer and bolder than the historic decors, painted freehand by our artisans in Deruta. On an open kitchen shelf it becomes a real conversation piece.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
