Fine cobalt-blue scrollwork winds across this biscotti jar in the Arabesco Blu pattern, one of the oldest decorative traditions to come out of Deruta. The intricate linework is painted freehand with a fine brush and takes real patience. It gives a classic, timeless look to a blue-and-white kitchen.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
