The peacock feather is one of the oldest motifs of Deruta majolica, a Renaissance symbol of beauty and renewal. In Peacock Light Blue the overlapping feathers are painted in turquoise with white rays and fine dark outlines, and a coral pink rim with dark dots frames cup and saucer. A turquoise espresso cup with a fresh, summery look, ideal for a coastal kitchen.
Our espresso cup and saucer is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. The cup holds 1.5 oz (45 ml), the classic Italian espresso measure; the saucer is 4.3 in (11 cm) wide and the set stands 3 in (7.6 cm) tall. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.
