Espresso Cup and Saucer “Peacock Blu”
The peacock feather is one of the oldest motifs of Deruta majolica, a Renaissance symbol of beauty and renewal. In Peacock Blu the overlapping feathers are painted in deep cobalt blue with golden rays and fine black outlines, and a yellow rim with dark dots frames cup and saucer. A blue espresso cup in the classic blue and yellow of Italian majolica.
Our espresso cup and saucer is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. The cup holds 1.5 oz (45 ml), the classic Italian espresso measure; the saucer is 4.3 in (11 cm) wide and the set stands 3 in (7.6 cm) tall. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.
