Description
Salad Plate “Penny”
The Penny decoration wraps the rim of this salad plate in fine cobalt blue vines, painted freehand on a white ground with tiny leaves and curls. A turquoise band frames the center and a warm orange line follows the edge, giving the blue and white pattern a bright Italian accent. It sits easily in a blue and white kitchen or on a relaxed farmhouse table.
At 8.7 in (22 cm) this is the middle plate of an Italian place setting, the right size for salads, starters, desserts and cheese. It is hand painted in Italian majolica and pairs with the matching dinner plate and pasta bowl. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe and lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
