Description
Salad Plate “Arabesco Blue”
Arabesco covers the rim with small cobalt blue flowers, dots and leaves, painted quickly and freely in the old Deruta way, with a little bird hidden among them. The blue and white palette is timeless and easy to mix with other tableware.
At 8.7 in (22 cm) this is the middle plate of an Italian place setting, the right size for salads, starters, desserts and cheese. It is hand painted in Italian majolica and pairs with the matching dinner plate and pasta bowl. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe and lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
