Traditional Biscotti Jar “Ricco Deruta”
The Ricco Deruta pattern, one of the most recognizable in all of Italian majolica, wraps this biscotti jar in rich scrolls of cobalt blue, burnt orange and gold. Born in the Renaissance workshops of Deruta, it is still painted entirely by hand by our artisans today. A true statement piece for any kitchen, and a natural companion to the Ricco Deruta coffee, sugar and salt jars.
Our Traditional Biscotti Jar is the classic Deruta cookie canister: a straight cylindrical body, the word BISCOTTI lettered by hand on the front, and a snug lid with a round knob that keeps cookies and biscotti fresh. At 18 cm (7.08 in) tall and wide, it holds a generous batch on the kitchen counter.
