About the Arabesco Pattern
The Arabesco decoration traces its roots to the Moorish ornamental tradition that reached Deruta through Renaissance trade routes. Its continuous interlocking curves and floral scrolls have been a hallmark of Deruta craftsmanship for centuries.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Shaped by hand, coated with a lead-free enamel glaze, and painted individually by skilled artisans in Deruta before a second kiln firing. Slight variations between pieces are the natural signature of handmade majolica.
Care & Use
Lead-free glaze, food safe, and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to avoid chipping from impacts inside the dishwasher. Microwave safe — avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Capacity: 1.5 oz | 45 ml.
