Description
Espresso Cup and Saucer “Umbria”
Umbria is one of MOD’s own designs, a small landscape painted freehand: red poppies in a green meadow dotted with yellow and white wildflowers, under a light blue sky. No two cups are alike, because every poppy is painted with quick, spontaneous strokes. It brings the colors of the Umbrian countryside in spring to the table.
Our espresso cup and saucer is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. The cup holds 1.5 oz (45 ml), the classic Italian espresso measure; the saucer is 4.3 in (11 cm) wide and the set stands 3 in (7.6 cm) tall. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
