Description
Traditional Mug “Peacock Total Blue”
The Peacock pattern covers this Italian coffee mug in overlapping feather scales, each one outlined in white and black and finished with a dotted rim and handle. In this version blue runs from the scales to the rim and the handle, painted scale by scale by our artisans in Deruta.
Our Traditional mug is the classic straight-sided Deruta mug, shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica, with a comfortable handle and a generous rim. Choose the 8.5 oz size (250 ml, 3.7 in / 9.5 cm tall) for coffee and cappuccino or the 12 oz size (350 ml, 4.3 in / 11 cm tall) for tea and long coffee. Food safe, lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe: a piece of Italian pottery made to be used every day.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
