Espresso Cup and Saucer “Galletto Rosso”
The Galletto, the little rooster, is among the best-loved patterns of Deruta rooster pottery and a traditional symbol of good luck in the Italian home. In this version the rooster is painted in bright red, with red leaf-shaped strokes, small cherries and a yellow band on a white ground, finished with a dashed red rim. A red espresso cup that adds a bold, warm accent to a white or wood-toned kitchen.
Our espresso cup and saucer is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. The cup holds 1.5 oz (45 ml), the classic Italian espresso measure; the saucer is 4.3 in (11 cm) wide and the set stands 3 in (7.6 cm) tall. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe.
