About the Arabesco Pattern
The Arabesco decoration draws from the Moorish ornamental tradition that arrived in Deruta through Renaissance trade routes. Its continuous flowing curves are one of the most recognized expressions of Italian majolica worldwide.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Each cup is individually shaped, coated with a lead-free enamel glaze, and hand-painted by skilled artisans before a second kiln firing. MOD Deruta Heritage has produced majolica in Deruta since 1965 — three generations of the same family.
Care & Use
Lead-free glaze, food safe, and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to avoid chipping from impacts inside the dishwasher. Microwave safe — avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Capacity: 1.5 oz | 45 ml.
