Description
Dinner Plate “Penny”
The Penny decoration wraps the rim of this dinner plate in fine cobalt blue vines, painted freehand on a white ground with tiny leaves and curls. A turquoise band frames the center and a warm orange line follows the edge, giving the blue and white pattern a bright Italian accent. It sits easily in a blue and white kitchen or on a relaxed farmhouse table.
This 11 in (28 cm) Italian dinner plate is shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe, lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
