Description
Salad Plate “Peacock Pattern”
Peacock Pattern takes the peacock feather eye, one of the oldest motifs of Deruta majolica, and repeats it around the rim in bright red, with blue and grey fans inside each feather. Fine black spirals fill the white ground between them, and a sunny yellow edge closes the plate. It is a bold, graphic pattern that stands out on a white table.
At 8.7 in (22 cm) this is the middle plate of an Italian place setting, the right size for salads, starters, desserts and cheese. It is hand painted in Italian majolica and pairs with the matching dinner plate and pasta bowl. Choose the scalloped edge for a classic Deruta look or the smooth edge for a cleaner line. Made in Italy, food safe and lead free, and safe for the dishwasher and microwave.
