This timeless design has its roots in the 16th century and was inspired by Raphael's frescoes in the Vatican. It is one of the most popular and enduring Renaissance designs of Deruta ceramics, represented by a mythical animal. Raphael's design was supposed to bring good luck to sailors, thanks to the wind blowing from the dragon's mouth. Beautifully hand-painted by the artisans of MOD Deruta ceramics, this timeless work of art will bring a taste of Italy into your home.
