“Bubble” Vinegar Bottle – Penny
Small hand-painted medallions in cobalt blue and warm ochre circle this little vinegar cruet like a string of antique coins, the rhythm that gives the Penny decoration its name. Shaped and painted by hand in our Deruta workshop, every piece is slightly different.
Our “Bubble” bottle is a round, playful piece of Italian pottery: 3.3 in (8.5 cm) tall and wide, it holds about 4.2 oz (125 ml) of balsamic or wine vinegar and comes with a stainless steel pourer, with “aceto” lettered in script on the body. Shaped and hand painted in Italian majolica, it is food safe, lead free and dishwasher safe. Pair it with the matching “Bubble” olive oil bottle in Penny for a charming set of ceramic oil and vinegar bottles.
