A refined and unusual colorway within Deruta's Arabesco family. The Violet cup brings a softer, more romantic mood to the coffee table — flowing arabesque motifs painted in delicate violet and cobalt on a white majolica ground, each piece hand-painted in Deruta.
About the Arabesco Pattern
The Arabesco decoration draws from the Moorish ornamental tradition that reached Deruta through Renaissance trade routes. Its fluid interlocking curves are one of the most enduring motifs in the Italian majolica tradition.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Each cup is individually shaped, coated with a lead-free enamel glaze, and hand-painted before a second kiln firing. MOD Deruta Heritage has been producing majolica in Deruta since 1965.
Care & Use
Lead-free glaze, food safe, and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to avoid chipping from impacts inside the dishwasher. Microwave safe — avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Capacity: 1.5 oz | 45 ml.
